Night on Earth, Cahuenga Pass’s neon-drenched, 1980s-themed cocktail bar from the team behind Thunderbolt, recently introduced a fresh lineup of cocktails priced to combat the ever-rising costs of living in 2026. Night on Earth’s new menu offers mini cocktails at $8, while full-sized boozy beverages run a reasonable $13.

The new menu brings drinks such as the Odd Throuple with rye whiskey, an apple-miso distillate vapor, buckwheat honey, beeswax, and pecan to Night on Earth, along with the Desnudo y Crudo with tequila, sotol, papaya, horchata, and orange. A total of 10 new drinks are available, with $10 nonalcoholic options as well. Regulars have little to worry about; they’ll prepare the old favorites and traditional ones as well. The $7 teriyaki-glazed beef hot dogs with togarashi Kewpie mayonnaise on a potato bun also remain on the menu.

Night On Earth’s co-owners obsess over experimentation as part of their cocktail development process, fermenting uncommon ingredients like cherries and sourcing from small alcohol producers. It often takes the team two to three days to make a base for each drink, including custom refrigeration and batching out specific ingredients. The bar is also committed to reducing waste.
